Public Works

Responsible for street maintenance such as snow removal and signage. They also maintain our parks along with town equipment and the upkeep of all Town of  Marbleton buildings and public restroom facilities.

Water

The Town of Marbleton currently has 3 water storage tanks which holds approx. 650,000 gallons of potable water. The tanks are inspected every 3-5 years. There are also 7 wells that are producing the water which we sample for total coli form 2 times a month and report to the EPA. There is also 14 miles of water distribution lines. We also have a water depot for bulk water sales. Water info and reports can be viewed at the town hall on request.

Sewer

Our waste water plant is designed to be able to treat 1.2 million gallons a day. The WWP has appox. 12 miles of collection with 3 lifts. It has a head works building with solids removal. After that it flows to two covered anaerobic ponds then it goes to a aerated tank filled with plastic media for bacteria to attach to. From there we flow it to a air rated pond then into our UV building and EFF. We also have a waste water dump station.
